Muse Research Welcomes discoDSP to the Receptor Platform

Anaheim, CA. January 15, 2004?Muse Research today announced a distribution agreement with venerable European VST software developer discoDSP for their Receptor hardware plug-in player. discoDSP are the creators of Discovery v2, a virtual analog synth, Vertigo, an additive synth with morphing capabilities, and Phantom, an 8 voice / 4 operator PM / FM synth, as well a variety VST effects.

Receptor serves as hardware player for discoDSP software
Receptor allows a person to run VST format software synths in an easy-to-use, portable, and robust hardware package. discoDSP software will be available pre-installed on the Receptor platform, providing musicians with a powerful array of synths with which to create. discoDSP software will be available in demo mode that allows their software to be evaluated, and then purchased with a simple web-based license transaction. This makes software synth technology easier and more convenient than with a computer.

"We are very excited to welcome discoDSP as one of the charter developers to the Receptor platform" comments Bryan Lanser, VP of Business Development at Muse Research. "Their synths sound great, work great, and empower musicians with a wide range of sounds from which to create" he adds.

"This partnership with Muse Research begins a new era for our company. Now we can now offer products on a dedicated, expandable and fully professional audio platform. This is something musicians could only dream of a few years ago, now, it is a reality" comments George Reales, Founder and Managing Director of discoDSP
