Muse Research Welcomes Applied Acoustics Systems to the Receptor Platform

Anaheim, CA. January 15, 2004?Muse Research today announced a distribution agreement for outside North America with Canadian software developer Applied Acoustics Systems for their Receptor VST plug-in player. Applied Acoustics are the creators of Lounge Lizard, a flexible virtual electronic piano, and Tassman, a powerful and diverse modular synthesizer based on physical modeling.

Applied Acoustics Plug-ins now portable and easier to use than ever
The Muse Research Receptor hardware VST player allows a person to run Applied Acoustics plug-in software with the portability and ease-of-use usually associated with dedicated hardware. This allows musicians who don't use computers to make music to take advantage of the power and innovation provided by Applied Acoustics products. Outside North America, the software is available pre-installed on the Receptor platform in demo form and can be fully authorized through a simple web transaction. For North-American customers the software is included with the full version of the retail version of the product and can be installed with a simple drag and drop.
