June 6, 2007—Muse Research, Inc. announced today that Larry Fishman has joined the board of directors. Brings a strong manufacturing background to the board of directors Larry, along with Ken Parker founded Parker Guitars Inc, in 1992. Larry was president of Parker Guitars until it was sold to US music in 2004. Parker guitars and basses are regarded as some of the most innovative and technologically advanced electric instruments ever brought to market. These instruments and their unique manufacturing process won numerous international design awards and are part of the permanent collections at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington and the Museum of Fine arts in Boston. Larry graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and also is an Alumnus of Berklee College of Music where he majored in music composition. Larry plays Bass Violin and has performed extensively with orchestras and small ensembles in the Boston area as well as with numerous Jazz groups for the past 35 years.
